Episode Summary
Irene tells Erza and Wendy about her kingdom of Dragnof 400 years ago, where humans and dragons lived in peace. When hostile dragons from the west attacked, the dragon Belserion fought for humankind, and Irene created Dragon Slayer magic. But a Dragon Seed grew inside the Dragon Slayers, and Irene herself turned into a dragon. Centuries later, Zeref gave her a human appearance. Irene tried and failed to move herself into her unborn child, and she left the baby, Erza, in Rosemary Village. Erza answers that being left behind led her to her real family.
