Episode Summary
Tsubaki's home run goes through a school window yet again, and Kosei Arima — a former child prodigy who stopped playing when his mother died — now spends his afternoons transcribing pop songs by ear. Roped in as a spare wheel for Watari's date, he stumbles on a girl playing a melodica in the park, gets off to a spectacularly bad start with her, and then learns she is the date: Kaori, a violinist whose competition starts in ten minutes.
