Episode Summary

Byro and his giant octopus absorb every attack Natsu throws at them, while Lucy and Michelle try to escape Hughes and Coco with help from Lucy's Celestial Spirits. Gildarts steps in to face Byro, and a reporter reveals that the attackers belong to the Legion Platoon of the Zentopia church. In the end, Hughes takes control of Michelle and steals the clock hand from Lucy.

💡 not know when to give up は「やめどきを知らない」。しつこさにも粘り強さにも使えます。

💡 know better は「分別がある」。I should've known better. で「(自分の判断の)甘さを悔やむ」言い方です。

💡 run out of ~ は「〜を切らす」。patience(忍耐)を切らすで「堪忍袋の緒が切れそう」です。

表現I've had enough of ~〜にはもううんざりだ

💡 have had enough of ~ は「〜はもうたくさんだ」。現在完了で積もり積もった不満を表します。

💡 not too ~ は「あまり〜ない」。I'm not too worried. は「大丈夫だと思う」と落ち着きを見せる言い方です。

What am I doing wasting time like this?

What am I doing ~ing? は「自分は何を〜しているんだ」。われに返るときの型です。

longer than I thought (it would) は「思っていたより長く」。比較 + I thought で予想とのずれを言えます。
