Episode Summary
After three months of training, Fairy Tail gathers at the guildhall, and Makarov names Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Wendy as the team for the Grand Magic Games. In Crocus, the Flower-Blooming Capital, Levy sums up the rules, Lyon makes a bet with Gray over Juvia, and Natsu meets Sting and Rogue, Sabertooth's Third-Generation Dragon Slayers. At midnight, a surprise preliminary round begins: a race through the Sky Labyrinth to narrow 113 guilds down to eight.

I'd like you to ~ は「〜してほしい」というていねいな指示。by は期限です。

in years past は「過去の年に」。現在完了の疑問文で前例を確認します。
