Episode Summary
In the first battle of the Grand Magic Games, Lucy faces Raven Tail's Flare. Lucy summons two Celestial Spirits at once and gains the upper hand, but Flare secretly threatens Asca in the stands to stop her from fighting back. Natsu notices and protects Asca, and Lucy uses Gemini to cast Urano Metria, but the spell is mysteriously cancelled and Flare wins. Lucy cries over the unfair loss, and her friends vow to make a comeback. Meanwhile, Arcadios of the royal army watches the games with a plan of his own.

for 人 to have + 過去分詞 で「人が〜したこと」。付加疑問で同意を求めます。

operate は「活動する・事業を行う」。That's how ~ operate. で手口を批判的に述べます。

prove that ~ は「〜を証明する」。相手の健闘をたたえるときにも使えます。
