At the halfway point of day three, Fairy Tail Team A ties for fourth place. In the battles, Mermaid Heel's Millianna beats Semus, and Sabertooth's Rufus defeats Eve with his Memory-Make magic. Laxus then faces Raven Tail's masked Alexei while the guild watches Raven Tail closely. Inside an illusion that only shows the crowd a fake fight, Alexei reveals himself as Ivan, Laxus's father. Ivan demands to know where Lumen Histoire is, and Laxus refuses to tell him.
