Episode Summary
Natsu faces Future Rogue, promising to protect Lucy's future his own way. Mirajane finds Yukino and reminds her that everyone has a purpose. Princess Hisui begins opening the Eclipse gate and apologizes to Lucy's group, while King Toma asks the guild wizards to help fight the dragons, and all the guilds agree. Jellal asks Lahar and Doranbolt for help. Future Rogue reveals new powers against Natsu, and as the gate opens, Lucy suddenly says it must be closed.

💡 merit は「価値・正当性」。法律や議論でよく使う硬めの語です。

💡 should は「万一」。come to pass は「起こる」の硬い言い方です。

第191話の実際のセリフから、押さえたい文法を3つ。
I can't believe it. ~ is finally …（信じられない。ついに〜が…する）I can't believe it. The gate is finally opening.
信じられん。ついに門が開くのか。
finally は「ついに」。長く待ったことが実現する驚きを表します。
他にも使える例：
If we miss, it'll be years before ~（失敗すれば、〜できるのは何年も先になる）If we miss, it'll be years before we're able to gather this much magic power again.
外せば、これだけの魔力を再び集めるには何年もかかります。
it'll be years before ~ は「〜するまでに何年もかかる」。失敗の重さを語ります。
他にも使える例：
I congratulate ~ on …（…について〜を祝福する）Also, I congratulate your guild on winning the Grand Magic Games.
それから、大魔闘演武の優勝おめでとうございます。
congratulate ~ on … は「…について〜を祝う」。前置詞 on に注意しましょう。
