Episode Summary
A fire-eating wizard wolfs down his cat's catch without asking, and while the offended cat storms off, a barmaid tidying the guild archives tells a newcomer how the pair first met. Years earlier, a boy convinced he had found a dragon's egg in the forest spent days keeping it warm in a straw hut with a white-haired girl, saw off an egg-hungry forest ape, accused the entire guild when the egg went missing, and watched it hatch into a winged blue cat.
