Episode Summary
A lion spirit tells how, three years earlier, he refused to go home until his cruel mistress released him and the ram spirit she mistreated, and how she took a job she could not handle and never came back. As he fades away beside her grave, a celestial-spirit mage nearly exhausts herself trying to force his gate open, until the moustachioed king of the spirits turns up, reconsiders the law, and sentences the lion to spend his life protecting her instead.
