Episode Summary

The grandson's ultimate spell goes off and harms nobody, betraying a heart that cares for the guild more than he will admit, and a battered fire-eating wizard, with an iron-eating rival taking a bolt for him, finally brings him down. Once the old master is out of danger he expels his grandson with a heavy heart, and that night the harvest parade goes ahead, with one gesture from the procession meant for a single figure watching from the crowd.
