Episode Summary

A guild master stages his annual twenty-four-hour race up a mountain and back, bans flying magic and promises a horrific forfeit for whoever finishes last, so a guild full of wizards spends the day sabotaging one another with ice floors, rune traps full of exam papers and a fire-powered booster. The reigning champion naps a little too long, the favourites wipe out a few feet from the line, and victory goes to the one runner nobody thought to worry about: a grounded blue cat.
