Episode Summary

Lost in a canyon maze on the way home, a starving team and their guild master manage to catch a single flying fish, which only the cat gets to eat, before stumbling on a deserted village where every table is laid with a freshly cooked meal. Mushrooms sprout from heads, the houses come to life as monsters, and the wizards try to cook them, discovering first that they taste dreadful and later that the village's own dark guild was trapped inside.

🎯 Grammar Patterns 3 patterns

PATTERN 1

Upon +

Upon closer inspection, I realized they were tools used to practice black magic.

When I looked closer

PATTERN 2

If you knew ~, why …?(〜

If you knew it was hardly edible, why'd you force me to eat it?!

Why did you ~? why'd は why did。

PATTERN 3

would rather ~ than …(…

I would rather starve than eat more of that stuff.
