Episode Summary
Tsukasa gets a new phone, finally works out how to text — and then will not stop, burying Konata under emoticons. Miyuki misses her name at the clinic, a traffic-safety patrolman grumbles about his week, and Kagami and Tsukasa finally see Konata's house for the first time, meeting her father, her room and a photo of the mother she takes after. Over dinner and a shooting star the three of them argue about wishes and invent nicknames for each other. On Lucky Channel, Akira delivers a lecture on where the word tsundere came from and what it has since come to mean.

(Do) you think you could ~? は遠回しなお願いの型。for a change(たまには)と組むと軽い皮肉になります。

なんでそれを先に言わないのよ?
Why didn't you ~? は「なんで〜しなかったの?」と軽く責める型。before で「もっと早く」の意味になります。

上着を持ってくればよかったかな。
should have + 過去分詞は「〜すべきだった」。Maybe を添えて軽い後悔を表します。
