Rudeus receives a letter from Paul, who has a solid lead on Zenith and is sending Rudeus's little sisters, Aisha and Norn, to live with him. While enjoying married life with Sylphie, Rudeus keeps helping Nanahoshi with her summoning experiments. When an important experiment fails, Nanahoshi collapses, and Rudeus brings her home to rest. Using ideas from the layered magic circles on Zanoba's doll and Cliff's knowledge, the group fixes her design and successfully summons a plastic bottle from their old world.
