Episode Summary
The party reaches the guardian of the labyrinth, a Manatite Hydra that absorbs magic, and finds Zenith trapped inside a crystal behind it. After a failed first attempt and a tense argument between Rudeus and Paul, they come up with a plan: Paul will cut off the heads, and Rudeus will burn the wounds at close range so they cannot heal. Paul asks his old companions to lend him their strength one last time, and the party defeats the hydra, but at a terrible cost. Days later, Zenith finally wakes up.
