🎯 Grammar Patterns 3 patterns

PATTERN 1

It takes me a little longer to create an object this big!

I need time to ~ が必要を言うのに対し、It takes me ~ to … (It takes me two hours)。

PATTERN 2

That way we don't run into the villains.

PATTERN 3

That's what + 主語 + 動詞(関係代名詞の what)

That's what it sounded like to me.

That's what I meant. / That's not what I said.

🎯 Today's Phrase Native daily-use phrase

★ TODAY'S PHRASE

count on ~

Don't count on the train being on time.(電車が時間どおりだとあてにしないで)のようにも言えます。 You can count on me.——「任せてください」という、短いのに信頼の重さがある一言です。We're counting on you.
