PATTERN 1
I'm glad to see that ~（〜なのを見てうれしい）

友達を気づかっているのを見るとうれしいね
look out for ~ は「〜を気にかける」です。
他にも使える例：
- I'm glad to see that you're feeling better.（体調）
- I'm glad to see that everyone made it.（全員）
PATTERN 2
I had no idea you were so ~!（そんなに〜だなんて知らなかった！）

そんなに強いなんて知らなかった！
I had no idea ~ は「まったく知らなかった」という驚きです。
