Full Cowling gets its first test when Izuku forces Gran Torino to dodge in earnest during three minutes of sparring, and the old man decides it is time for real villains. 第28話の実際のセリフから、中級で押さえたい文法を3つ。
PATTERN 1
If you only ~, you'll be in trouble when ~（〜ばかりしていると、〜のとき困るぞ）
If you only fight against me, you'll be in trouble when you come across someone who's the complete opposite
わしとばかり戦っていたら、正反対の相手に出くわしたとき困る
only は「〜ばかり」。come across ~ は「〜に出くわす」です。
他にも使える例：
- If you only eat snacks, you'll be in trouble when you get sick.（お菓子）
- If you only study at night, you'll be in trouble when you have a morning exam.（夜）
PATTERN 2
I'd hate for you to ~（あなたが〜するのは見たくない）

I'd hate for A to ~ は「Aに〜してほしくない」という気づかいです。
