Episode Summary
Subaru and the silver-haired girl track the thief to a loot house in the slums. He goes in alone — and what he finds there sends him back to the fruit stand at sunset, wounds gone, hours undone. On his second try he reaches Old Man Rom's shop first and offers his cell phone for the insignia, only for a client's envoy, Elsa, to arrive with holy coins and turn the trade into an auction. The bidding ends the moment Elsa decides she would rather take everything.

表現be cut out for ~〜に向いている
💡 be cut out for ~ は「〜に向くように切り出されている」＝「〜の適性がある」。否定文でよく使います。

I'd be lying if I said ~（〜と言ったらうそになる）I'd be lying if I said you haven't been holding me back a little bit
少しも足手まといになってないと言ったら、うそになるけど
I'd be lying if I said ~ は「〜と言えばうそになる」。本音を控えめに認める型です。
他にも使える例：
Judging by ~, I'd say …（〜から判断すると…）Judging by what it can do, I'd say your metia is worth at least 20 holy coins
性能から見て、そのミーティアは少なくとも聖金貨20枚の価値があるね
Judging by ~ は「〜から判断すると」。I'd say と組んで見立てを述べる型です。
他にも使える例：
If only you could have ~ sooner, …（もっと早く〜していれば…）If only you could have stood up and done that sooner, things might have gone a bit differently for these two
もっと早く立ち上がっていれば、この二人の運命も少しは違ったでしょうに
If only + 仮定法過去完了 は「〜でさえあったなら」。過去への強い後悔を表します。
