Episode Summary
The letter he sent arrived blank, so the household that raised him meets his rescue party with a weapon. The villagers he came to save decide the danger is the half-elf's fault and refuse to move. He gets them out anyway, wins the fight, and then the thing he thought he had killed twice climbs into the one body nobody was guarding — his own.

even remotely は「ほんの少しでも」。反語で強く否定します。
他にも使える例：
Wouldn't you say that ~?（〜だとは思いませんか？）Wouldn't you say that such a low standard is a bit demeaning and degrading?
そんな低い基準は、少々品位を下げるものだと思いませんか？
Wouldn't you say that ~? は同意を誘う丁寧な問いかけです。
