🎯 Grammar Patterns 3 patterns

PATTERN 1

in case ~(〜するといけないので)

I always keep them on me in case I need a little snack.

Take an umbrella if it rains. Take an umbrella in case it rains.

PATTERN 2

No wonder ~(道理で〜なわけだ)

No wonder I awoke feeling so uncomfortable.

PATTERN 3

It doesn't matter if ~(〜でも構わない)

It doesn't matter if no one else knows.

I don't care It doesn't matter if ~ は判断——投げやりに聞こえないのが違い。 if のかわりに how / who / when も置けて、It doesn't matter how it happened.(どうなったかは問題ではない)のように使えます。

🎯 Today's Phrase Native daily-use phrase

★ TODAY'S PHRASE

take after ~

She takes after her mother. She is taking after her mother. 紛らわしいのがtake over ~(引き継ぐ)とlook like ~(外見が似ている)。
