The second cour opens with two threads running side by side. The Forgers go looking for the dog Anya was promised, first at a pet shop that supplies war dogs and then at an adoption event; meanwhile Twilight is pulled into an emergency — a student cell plans to assassinate Foreign Minister Brantz using dogs strapped with bombs. Anya wanders off, overhears the plotters, and meets a large white dog who can apparently see the future.

express wanting ~ は「〜を望むと表明する」。報告書風に本人の希望を伝える、改まった型です。
