Two stories. George Glooman, a classmate whose family firm is collapsing, blames the Desmonds and tries to get Damian expelled by planting a cigarette butt — and when the plot fails he milks his misfortune for snacks, photographs and farewell gifts, only to learn at home that the company was bought out rather than bankrupted. ★★★★★
5.0 / 5
この 上級版 では、come to an agreement / break the news / go under / swoop in / push ~ over the edge のような会社の買収と経営をめぐる言い回し を中心に据えました。
come to an agreement 、go under 、swoop in 、get bought out
It's not like I'm the one who ~ / I've been pleasantly surprised with how ~ まで扱う、上級者向けの第19話です。
