Episode Summary
Yuri Briar is handed a propagandist to catch: Franklin Perkin, a disgraced reporter printing anti-Ostania material and slipping it abroad. Two sleepless days of surveillance produce a report of almost comic thoroughness before Yuri spots the trick — outgoing mail, posted after the inspectors have screened it — and makes the arrest, then quietly files for financial aid for the man's father. Elsewhere, Anya discovers Berlint in Love and its impossibly gallant spy, Loid fails to see the appeal of a slow-moving polar bear ride, and two very different mornings begin: Damian already awake and studying, Anya with ten minutes to defuse the bomb.

💡 a man of one's word は「言ったことは守る人」。a woman of her word とも言い、信頼をアピールする表現です。

💡 chock-full は「ぎっしり詰まった」という口語。良いものにも悪いものにも使えます。

💡 pop up は「ひょいと現れる」。keep ~ing と組んで「繰り返し出てくる」。パソコンの画面にもよく使います。

💡 square は「釣り合わせる」。square up で「（借金や勘定を）清算する」。割り勘の精算にも使えます。

💡 back down は「後ずさりする」から「引き下がる・譲歩する」。政治や交渉のニュースでよく使われます。

💡 be up to ~ は「（よからぬことを）している」。What are you up to?（何してるの？）はあいさつにも使えます。

💡 seal は「封をする」。one's fate is sealed で「運命が決まる＝もう逃れられない」。大げさな言い回しとして冗談にも使えます。

💡 twisted は「ねじれた」。Don't get it twisted. で「話をねじ曲げて受け取るな＝誤解するな」という口語表現です。

💡 music to one's ears は「耳に心地よい音楽」から「聞いてうれしい話」。提案や知らせを大喜びで受けるときに使います。

保安局の連中がこんなに礼儀正しいとはね。
Who knew ~? は「〜とは意外だ」という修辞疑問。皮肉にも素直な驚きにも使えます。
他にも使える例：

これほど熱心な新人は珍しい。
It's rare (that) ~ は「〜はめったにない」。so … で相手の長所を際立たせてほめる型です。
