Episode Summary
Deaf once more to his own piano, Kosei races through the Chopin like a man fleeing a rising tide, and then stops dead in the middle of the piece. The hall assumes he has given up; instead he thinks of Kaori, starts again and plays for her alone, filling the hall with chalk dust, cherry blossom and April. PATTERN 1
