Episode Summary
Kosei balks at Love's Sorrow because it was his mother's lullaby, and Hiroko tells him to pour himself into it regardless. Kaori's parents stuff him with cake, the gang sneak into the school pool after dark with fireworks, and Kaori tells him to treat not hearing his notes as a gift. Then, on the day of the gala, Kaori simply does not turn up, a smug competition winner refuses to swap slots, and Kosei walks out to play alone.
