Episode Summary

In a cafe, Kosei stops dead halfway through a nursery tune on a toy piano, then admits to Kaori why he quit: when he plays, he cannot hear his own notes. She responds by appointing him her accompanist anyway. He refuses, so she and Tsubaki fill his week with the Saint-Saëns piece until, on the school roof on the morning of the second round, Kaori asks him to believe in her and he gives in.
