Episode Summary

Kaori is in hospital after fainting — anaemia, she says, nothing serious — while Kosei, convinced he wrecked her competition, has not touched the piano since. Tsubaki bumps into her old crush, the former baseball captain, and finds her heart oddly unmoved. Then Kaori, discharged, names her price for forgiveness: Kosei must enter a piano competition himself, and she leaps off a bridge into the river to show how easy taking the plunge can be.
