Episode Summary

Watari's team loses its last junior-high match, and Kosei, so lost in Chopin that he forgets to eat, keels over. In a park he tells Kaori about the cat his mother gave away, and she tells him simply to play as himself. On competition day two rivals who have spent years chasing him, Emi and Takeshi, are waiting, and Takeshi, who turned down a trip to Europe just to face him, walks out to play.
